The focus of GFX is on the licensing of its know-how and software for the implementation and support of the GFX System to investment management organizations and their service providers. The know-how of GFX is specific to the GFX System and is incremental to the know-how generally required to operate investment products in a traditional manner. This incremental know-how is in the areas of the legal, regulatory, fiscal, auditing, operational, technological, distribution, compliance and contractual aspects of investment operations in each jurisdiction and in each market segment (e.g., banking, insurance) which is relevant to a particular client. The GFX software is specific to the GFX System and performs those accounting and information system functions which are required in addition to those generally required to operate investment products in a traditional manner.
